We believe in paying micro-generators a reasonable rate for the surplus green energy they produce and send to the grid. We do this in hopes that more Albertans invest in solar and move us toward a more sustainable future.
To qualify you must be a small micro-generator with a system capacity less than 150 kW in Alberta.

- Flexibility! We offer the flexibility to switch rates without penalty between High Export and Low Export rates. We do require just 10 days notice to make the change.
- Green 10% Today! We will green 10% of the electricity you import to the grid. This move will bring the province closer to 30% renewable energy by 2030.
- Earn Cash Back! Camrose Energy will pay you 2% cash back on all energy you import from the grid paid annually.
SOLAR SYNERGY PROGRAM
With our Community Partner Program, we give 10% of our profits to local organizations. You choose which organization the 10% profit from your home or business goes toward. We have a Solar Synergy Program, where the donated 10% will go to help non-profits put solar on their roof! Solar Synergy will assist the organization in becoming more environmentally and economically sustainable.

There was a reason why we signed up with Camrose Energy because the other company we were with was not local and we were talking to people over the phone from other countries. Some of those people could not understand the problem we were having with our bill and we were getting frustrated, to say the least.
They are a local company and very easy to just call without a long waiting time or send them an email and they always respond back promptly . Even if there was a problem, they do a great job in rectifying the problem as soon as possible.

When we installed solar panels two summers ago we switched our utilities to Camrose Energy. It has been wonderful to speak with caring knowledgeable people at the office.
Camrose Energy offer a superb program for micro generators. In the peak solar season I can switch over to a contract that enables me to sell the power for a premium price. In the fall I switch back to a lower fixed price.
