Camrose Energy offers electricity, natural gas and Solar Club plans for Lethbridge customers with personal service from our small team in Camrose. Whether you’re reviewing household costs, arranging utilities for a business or looking at rates for your solar system we’re happy to talk. KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING BEFORE YOU SWITCH

We’ll explain the price, administration fees and terms together so you can judge the plan as a whole. If an option requires a refundable deposit, we’ll go over that too. You shouldn’t have to sign up first to find out how the account works. There’s no signup fee or exit penalty with Camrose Energy. If you decide to leave you can cancel through your online account with 10 business days’ notice. You’ll have an energy agreement with us, but you won’t be committed to staying for its full term.

Lethbridge has its own electricity distribution system, but you can choose your electricity retailer.

Our guaranteed electricity plans keep your price per kilowatt-hour steady for the chosen term. Variable plans follow the market instead. A guaranteed rate can suit someone who wants more certainty about the energy price, while a variable rate means being comfortable with changes from month to month.

Delivery charges and other applicable costs still form part of your bill whichever retail plan you choose. FLEXIBLE NATURAL GAS PLANS

Camrose Energy offers guaranteed and variable natural gas plans in Lethbridge. You can choose a set price per gigajoule for the plan’s term or a rate that follows the market. Discounted plans with a refundable prudential deposit are also available, and we’ll explain the deposit terms alongside the rate.

You don’t need to move your electricity account to choose us for natural gas. Keep gas on its own or bring both services together on one bill with our Camrose team looking after your account questions. You can compare the current options online or call us to discuss a plan before signing up.

LETHBRIDGE SOLAR OWNERS CAN CHOOSE SOLAR CLUB RATES

Solar Club gives approved solar micro-generators access to HI and LO electricity rates. The HI Rate offers a higher credit for electricity exported to the grid and it also applies to electricity you buy. It’s worth considering when your system sends out more power than your property brings in.

When you’re buying more electricity than you’re exporting the LO Rate may make more sense. Your meter’s import and export readings help you decide when to change. We can explain the choices and help with rate requests as your production changes through the year.

If you’re planning a new installation within Lethbridge the City handles the local micro-generation connection and approval process. Our role is to help with the retail electricity plan and credits for eligible exports once the system is approved and operating. How much those credits help will depend on your production electricity use and chosen rate.

Our office is in Camrose, and we’ve supported solar education in Lethbridge too. Camrose Energy has proudly sponsored the Lethbridge Eco-Solar Tour which gave people a chance to learn from homeowners about solar and other home improvements. We like opportunities where people can ask questions and hear about someone’s experience firsthand.

That’s also how we approach our own customers. Denise, Maurina and Cameron are part of the team you can contact about rates, billing and account changes. Through our Community Connections Program part of our profits also supports Alberta groups, events and projects.

UTILITY PLANS FOR LETHBRIDGE & NEARBY RURAL PROPERTIES

Agriculture and food production are a big part of the Lethbridge region, with farms and rural businesses surrounding the city. We can check utility options for those properties as well as homes and small businesses within Lethbridge. Let us know which services you need and we’ll confirm what’s available at the address.

Outside city limits the distributor or local utility arrangement can affect your choices. Some Rural Electrification Associations have restrictions, and we can’t supply natural gas to properties served by a gas co-op. We’ll check electricity and gas separately rather than assume both are available.

For signup each electricity and natural gas service has its own 13-digit Site ID. You can usually find those numbers on an existing bill, or we can help look them up. They identify the service locations we need to enrol.
