WHY CAMROSE ENERGY FOR NEW SAREPTA UTILITIES?

Camrose Energy is locally owned with a small team in Camrose you can call directly about your account. We’ll take the time to compare plans with you and answer your questions without pushing you to sign up. If the comparison doesn’t show a saving, we’ll tell you.

There’s no enrolment fee or exit penalty, and you can cancel with 10 business days’ notice through your online account. Choosing us also supports our Community Connections Program, which puts part of our profits toward Alberta events, community groups and projects.

COMPARE ELECTRICITY PLANS FOR YOUR NEW SAREPTA PROPERTY

Camrose Energy offers guaranteed electricity rates for customers who want a set price per kilowatt-hour. We also offer variable plans that follow the electricity market. You can compare the current rates and terms online, or send us a bill if you’d like help comparing them with your existing plan.

With a discounted electricity plan you’ll provide a refundable deposit called a prudential in exchange for the lower rate. Base plans are available without that deposit. We’ll go over the amount how it’s held and the refund terms before you make your choice.

BUNDLE NATURAL GAS

You can choose Camrose Energy for natural gas without moving your electricity account. We offer guaranteed rates that hold your price per gigajoule steady for the selected term as well as variable rates that change with the gas market. Discounted plans with a refundable prudential deposit are available too.

If you’d like to combine electricity and gas we can arrange both on one bill. You’re free to choose a different rate type for each service, such as guaranteed electricity and variable natural gas. We’ll help you check the available combinations when you sign up.

CHOOSE A NATURAL GAS PLAN

SOLAR CLUB^® AND PRE-SOLAR RATE OPTIONS IN NEW SAREPTA

Solar Club offers approved solar micro-generators HI and LO rates. The HI Rate pays more for exported electricity and also costs more for power you buy. It can be useful when you export more than you import while the LO Rate may suit periods when that balance reverses.

If you’ve signed an agreement to install solar but your system isn’t operating yet, ask us about the Pre-Solar Rate. It has its own eligibility requirements and is available for up to 180 days from enrolment. We can check your installation paperwork and explain the move to a Solar Club plan once your property qualifies.

ACCOUNTS IN THE HAMLET AND RURAL LEDUC COUNTY

We offer plans for eligible homes and small businesses in the hamlet of New Sarepta and can check farms and acreages in the surrounding Leduc County area. If you’re arranging several utility accounts send us the service address or Site ID so we can check each location.

Natural gas co-op properties aren’t eligible for our gas plans, and some Rural Electrification Associations limit electricity retailer choices. We’ll confirm which services you can enrol before starting an application.

There’s no enrolment fee or exit penalty with Camrose Energy. You can cancel by submitting the cancellation form through your online account with 10 business days’ notice. Before switching from another retailer, check whether its agreement has any cancellation charges or notice requirements.
